Your mind is a maze. Resilience is the exit.

*There are still a few typos and the experience is somewhat crazy - it is meant to be. BEST VIEWED ON BROWSER FOR THE INTERACTIVE GAMEPLAY ELEMENT (SPOTTING ITEMS). Single playthrough ~ 8 minutes. Several with most endings ~ 30-40 minutes. 

Mazeilience is a short and punchy, story-driven interactive experience where you explore what memory means to you while withstanding a crazy labyrinth. It was built with Arcweave for the Game Writing SIG Arcjam. Shifting identities, unreliable guidance, and a mind that behaves like a living puzzle make for a cryptic yet unforgettable experience!

You wake in a place that remembers you - even as you have lost (or forgotten yourself).  The surreal narrative combines trust, memory and the main faces of resilience. It makes you question. Question both the Rune and the Voice, both also wants you to escape your own mind trap. Calm but contradictory.  Absolute but apathetic. They serve as spirits working with you through your mind but also clinging on in their own attempts to escape whatever it is you're all in. 

Fragments hide in abstract images. Tests emerge in silence. Your reactions bend the world while straightening your mind. Interpretations of resilience guide you onward. 

The "Resiliexits" are well won, as your mind darts from total serenity to tumultuous chaos.  

Take your time. Don't trust too easily. Notice what the labyrinth notices in you. 

Voices for VO were self-recorded, edited via audacity using clips from previous audacity works and some of the tracks I made when younger. Canva was used for creative works featured in this editing and creating shapes (not an artist). The branching narrative as well as logic was created entirely in Arcweave. Every limitation became a mechanic, every workaround became a clue.

Omg, the sound in this one is UNSETTLING. Reminds me of that mind puzzle in BG3! And felt very surreal to me? Impeccably creepy vibes
